Who we are
The Aquarela Project works in vulnerable communities, urban and rural periphery, seeking community improvement through programs in education, sports, among others, to promote the well-being of children and adolescents.
The association started with a group of friends who live in the city of Campinas and felt sensitized to the life situations of people in social vulnerability. The group's discomfort led to the implementation of several projects in Campinas and in other states, based on the philosophy that people have a great chance of being the result of the environment in which they live. In this way, we understand that children, adolescents and young people need an ethical example and love, so that they can have new references, generating changes in perspectives in relation to the world.
Thus, it seeks to work on character attitudes and assist in social inclusion, focusing not only on individual but also collective change, as these children and adolescents will also influence the environment in which they are inserted, such as the family and the community.
Little things make the difference
Leisure moments are important for children, giving them a space to pretend, interpret and create. Play areas stimulate the mind, solve problems and help children learn and develop skills in all domains. And, of course, recreational areas are also important for developing physical dexterity and good health.
